Starting my online ACA tutoring business was a natural step, combining my technical expertise with my passion for teaching. After four years in audit at RSM, I developed a strong foundation in financial reporting and assurance. My subsequent two years in industry broadened my accounting knowledge, allowing me to see how financial principles are applied in practice.

Two years ago, I began tutoring ACA students and quickly realised the impact of personalised guidance. Seeing my students achieve exam success and grow in confidence was incredibly rewarding. I recognised that traditional learning methods, such as intensive eight-hour-a-day college courses crammed into a single week, are not the most effective way for students to absorb and retain information. These sessions often prioritise note-taking over real understanding, leaving students left to navigate lengthy 500-page materials on their own.
